“Well, you split your soul, you see, and hide part of it in an object outside the body. Then, even if one’s body is attacked or destroyed, one cannot die, for part of the soul remains earthbound and undamaged. But, of course, existence in such a form…few would want it, Tom, very few. Death would be preferable.”

Bonnie Wright is set to take part in a Sport Relief special of the UK hit show The Great British Bakeoff. This Sport Relief special will see a set of celebrity bakers compete against each other in a series of bakes. The bakes are judged by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. Here’s a little more about the series:
The series will be stripped across Monday 13th January to Thursday 16th January with four celebrity bakers, of varying baking experience, competing against each other in four mini Bake Offs. All the celebrity bakers will be put through their paces on signature, technical and showstopper bakes. From pesky pies to celebratory cakes and troublesome tarts, the competition is fierce and some of the baking astounding. At the end of each episode the celebrity baker who rises above the rest will be crowned Sport Relief Star Baker.
What would come, would come…and he would have to meet it, when it did.

When her body first hit the net, all I registered was a gray blur.
I pulled her across it and her hand was small, but warm,
and then she stood before me, short and thin and plain.
In all ways remarkable-
Except
That she jumped first.
The stiff had jumped first.
Even I didn’t jump first.
Her eyes were so stern, so insistent.
Beautiful
